“Damen Sehat” is a unique health insurance provided by DSP to its clients without charging any additional amount from them. This free of cost service provides financial safety to the clients of DSP and their Spouses, by compensating loss of income in case of hospitalization. By keeping in view the needs of rural customers, “Damen Sehat” covers treatment from any registered hospital in Pakistan, which means that customers are completely free from hassle of finding panel hospitals to get treatment.
This facility pays Rs. 1,000 for each day of hospitalization in case of admission in a hospital due to illness or accident. This amount is doubled i.e. Rs. 2,000 for any days spent in ICU and a sum of Rs. 10,000 is paid in the case of child births through C-Section.
Damen Support Programme partnered with MicroEnsure for “Damen Sehat” owing to the latter’s global experience in micro insurance. To ensure a quick and stress-free service, MicroEnsure ensures quick payment of claims i.e. within three days of submission of documents.
